IHO (Industrial Heating Oil) or FURNACE Fuel is a cost-effective fuel for oil-fired boilers. It’s most commonly used in commercial boilers, heaters, driers and furnaces to provide heating and hot water in apartment blocks, offices, schools/colleges, hospitals and leisure centres.
Commercial heating oil doesn’t need to meet the exacting standards of fuel for off-road mobile plants, making it cheaper to produce as it isn’t subject to the extra government levies for fuel duty.
This fuel is known under various names, including: FURNACE, FURNACE OIL, FURNACE FUEL, FURNACEFLAME, GREENFLAME, ULTRA35, THERMA35 & IHO (Industrial Heating Oil).
It burns slower than conventional GAS OIL, so it is more cost effective and no equipment modifications are required.
It has further advantages of a long storage life as it is winter-grade and has zero bio content which means it can be bought in bulk and stored all year round without the risk of spoilage or waxing.
